یعد تألیف مقطع صوتي مع السرد أسلوبا مبتكرا ومثیرا لإنشاء تجربة وسائط متعددة تشرك كلاً من الحواس السمعیة والسردیة. یتضمن ھذا المفھوم استخدام المؤثرات الصوتیة والموسیقى والكلمة المنطوقة لروایة قصة وإنشاء تجربة غامرة وآسرة للمستمع.
یتكون تكوین الصوت عادًة من مزیج من الأصوات المحیطة والموسیقى والمؤثرات الصوتیة التي یتم اختیارھا بعنایة لنقل نغمة ومعني القصة. یتم بعد ذلك وضع ھذه العناصر في طبقات ومزجھا معا لإنشاء مشھد صوتي متماسك وجذاب یعزز تجربة سرد القصص.
یعتبر السرد مكونا أساسیا لھذا المفھوم لأنه یوفر للجمھور خط صوتي واضح وجذاب. یتم اختیار محتوى الراوي بعنایة لیتناسب مع نغمة وحالة القصة، وعادة ما یتم تسجیله بشكل منفصل عن العناصر الأخرى للموسیقى التصویریة لضمان الوضوح والاتساق.

تھدف ورشة العمل ھذه إلى تزوید المشاركین بالمھارات والمعرفة المطلوبة لالتقاط جوھر المواقع المختلفة من خلال الصوت. بحلول نھایة ورشة العمل ، سیكون المشاركون قد طوروا فھما لكیفیة تسجیل الصوت ومعالجته، وكیفیة استخدامه لإنشاء تجربة فریدة وغامرة عبر الخرائط الصوتیة.

مؤلفة موسیقي الكترونیة وباحثة في فن الصوت، تستوحي حرفتھا الصوتیة من التدفق الدینامیكي للمراكز الحضریة والبنیة التحتیة الرئیسیة للمدن. مھتمة بفلسفة العمارة والتاریخ الاجتماعي والأدب الفلسفي. تنفذ مكاوي التنقلات البصریة من الاصوات، وحولت الموجات الصوتیة إلى الأشكال المرئیة. یعتمد عملھا على الصوت كأداة أساسیة للرؤیة، وتتشكل فلسفة التكوین من خلال ممارسات متطورة تنقل رسائل البعد المفاھیمي إلى الجمھور.مكاوي ھي ممارسة قائمة على البحث. تربط بشكل وثیق بین أیدیولوجیة الماضي الأسطوري والتكنولوجیا المتقدمة للحاضر الأبدي. تعمل على تكوین صوتي یعتمد على أدب الفلسفة الصوفیة ومنھج كتاب الموتى.

Narration is an essential component of this concept as it provides the audience with a clear and engaging sound line. The narrator’s content is carefully chosen to match the tone and mood of the story, and it is usually recorded separately from the other elements of the soundtrack to ensure clarity and consistency.
Sound art is also an integral part of this concept, as it provides a unique and creative way to enhance the storytelling experience. Sound art is the use of sounds and noises that are not traditionally considered musical or melodic, such as ambient noise, field recordings, and manipulated sounds. By incorporating records into the voices, the composer can create an immersive and dynamic soundscape that evokes emotions and enhances the narrative.
In this workshop, we will explore the art of recording ambient sounds from different locations and using them to build a sound map of field records.
This workshop aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to capture the essence of different locations through sound. By the end of the workshop, participants will have developed an understanding of how to record and manipulate sound, and how to use it to create a unique and immersive experience throughout the sound maps.
Throughout the workshop, participants will be encouraged to explore different locations and record the sounds they hear. They will learn how to use various recording equipment to capture different types of sounds and how to edit and manipulate them using digital tools.
In addition to recording sounds, participants will also learn how to analyze and interpret them, using their recordings to create a sound map of the field records. This map will be a visual representation of the different locations and the sounds that were recorded there, creating a unique and immersive experience for the audience.
This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in sound art, whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist. Yara Mekawei
A prolific artist and scholar, Mekawei‘s sonic bricolages draw inspiration from the dynamic flow of urban centers and the key infrastructure of cities. Interested in the philosophy of architecture, social history, and philosophical literature. Mekawei implemented the optical transaction from the musical conversation and transferred the sound waves to visual forms. Her work is based on sound as an essential tool of vision, the philosophy of composition is shaped by sophisticated practices that convey messages of the conceptual dimension to the public. Mekawei is a research-based practice humbly proposed in history, intimately connecting the ideology of the mythic past to the developed technology of the eternal present. She is working on a sonic composition based on the literature of the Sufi philosophy and the methodology of the Book of the Dead.
