Our first interview is with the Egyptian-Palestinian researcher, Abdallah Bayyari, he talks to us in his voice passing between Arabic dialects, about migration, relocation and the issue of identity in the context of his ignition with the topic of the city and spatial studies and their relationship to sound, archives and interdisciplinary practices. His research focuses on Spatiality, Territoriality, Body, and Mobility in cities and (with)in borders. He is a curator and dramaturge in performative arts. His papers were published in many Arab and non Arab platforms such as: E-Flux, SARMA, Jadaliyya, Journal of Palestine Studies, and recently he is a coauthor of a City Re-construction: Urban Policy Innovation, which it to be published by Routledge (2023), and an academic guest editor is more than one peer reviewed journal.
